Davy Crockett’s Roadhouse-Welcomes Chris Cline

I have traveled the state from one end to the other. Today I was reminded of what I take for granted out my own back door. Davy Crockett’s Roadhouse Restaurant & Tavern http://www.davycrocketts.com is located in Tullahoma and Manchester TN and is the brainstorm of Ray Danner. Ray Danner is a retired co-founder of Shoney’s Inc. Ray Danner’s company is based out of Nashville and in addition to the Davy Crockett concept they also own the Fifth Quarter located in Nashville Tennessee, Louisville, Kentucky, and Charleston, West Virginia. The idea of Crockett’s is simply based on history. John Crockett opened a tavern serving food and drink. The Davy Crockett’s Roadhouse http://www.davycrocketts.com Restaurant and Tavern as seen here has the log cabin feel and is a family friendly restaurant. This one is located on Hwy 55 on the way to Lynchburg, TN with the other located in Manchester, TN just off the Woodbury exit on I24. Of course they offer a variety of appetizers, salads, and burgers, but they are best known for their steaks, The ROADHOUSE RIBEYE™, cooked with a ”Traditional Tennessee taste of our famous Crockett’s Marinade”.

That is not the only unique thing that is offered at Davy Crockets Roadhouse Restaurant & Tavern. http://www.davycrocketts.com Tullahoma has it’s own signature drink in the Tavern. “Tullahoma Spring Water” and ”Lynchburg Lemonade” are two of the favorites of locales and tourist alike. The warm atmosphere and good service are a great finish to a day touring the Jack Daniels’ Distillery in Lynchburg TN or the Manchester Foot Hill Crafts. I think if they had a trading post to sell my post cards it would be the perfect place.

For their first performer District Manager – Beth Shepard brought in the young Chris Cline.www.myspace.com/chriscline You may remember Chris Cline from the C.M.T. show “Can You Duet.” As a finalist on the show about 25 million people saw him perform. Having a laid back Kenny Chesney style with a Rascal Flatts sound, it was a pleasure to come in and enjoy “Tullahoma Spring Water” and the sound of this young man. I am glad they asked this Nashville performer to come down. Chris Cline is a 24-year-old native of Wilmington, N.C, who just recently packed up and moved to Music City to pursue his music career. His laid back style is what eased the transition from sports bar to an entertainment venue while sharing the spot light with some of the employees who saw this as an opportunity to sing with a star.
